This San Francisco Victorian, once a timeworn rental, was ready for a new beginning. Our clients saw past the wear and envisioned a vibrant home base in the Bay Area—one that honored the building’s historic charm while embracing a bold, modern spirit. We were delighted to collaborate on bringing that vision to life.

Every update was approached with intention: practical upgrades were essential, but never at the expense of character. A common thread of rich blues and fresh greens winds its way through the home, creating a cohesive and calming backdrop for layers of color, pattern, and personality.

A particular joy of this project was integrating the clients’ personal art collection—an eclectic and expressive mix that brought soul and individuality to every room. Rather than play it safe with neutrals, we let the art and palette lead the way, leaning into vibrant hues and playful moments that celebrate both the home’s history and its renewed energy.

The result is a space that feels deeply personal, richly layered, and full of life—rooted in the past, but entirely ready for the future.
